Hello Students and Parents!

Seniors!!! YOU WILL GRADUATE!! I know that’s the big question! As long as requirements are met, we will have a graduation even if we have to wait to have it! We will make up for lost time and make sure you get to enjoy graduation. It’s been very hard on the staff to know that you are missing out and we are very aware of how hard this is on all of you and your families. We wish we could just snap our fingers and fix it!

To say we miss you and wish you were here at school with us in an understatement!  We hope you and your families are all doing well.

The purpose of this letter is to explain what our plan is going forward for the rest of the school year. We know that we won’t be back in school until at least May 1st, maybe longer but hopefully not!

We want to make sure that we can provide education to all of our students in the best way possible given the current situation. We know it is not ideal but we promise we will do our best.

Beginning April 6th, ALL work will be graded. All work will be due by May 8th so teachers have time to grade it and enter it into Progress Book.

Students: We have two options in order for you to complete your last quarter assignments. Please keep in mind this work is required.

➢ If you have high speed internet, your work is all online. Please make sure you are checking your google classroom daily and your school email for assignments. Your teachers have all done their best to contact everyone, please let them know by email if you need anything at all.

➢ If you do not have high speed internet or access to a device to do your work online, we are offering packets that will be available starting Monday April 6th through April 10th from 8 am to 1 pm every dayin the main entrance of the high school office. We are doing our best to protect our students, staff and parents so the only access will be in the double doors where the packets will be located. This is for everyone’s safety. If you need to come at a different time to pick up packets and absolutely cannot make it during this time, let us know and we’ll make arrangements for you to get your packet. Each packet will have the student name, grade and schedule on it.

➢ To return packets: We have set up a student “drop box” where students can return their work once it’s all completed. Please return the work in the original packet and make sure your name is on every assignment, otherwise, you will not get credit for your work because we’ll have no way of knowing who it belongs to.  ALL packets of student work must be completed and turned into the drop box no later than Friday May 8thTeachers will need time to grade the work and enter the grades in Progress Book.
