Western High School boys basketball has a schedule change. The game scheduled for 1/10 has been moved to 1/15. We will play a freshman game at 5 followed by jv and varsity
Western will not have a Jr High boys or girls basketball game today 1/2. This cancellation is due to Glenwood being unable to play.
We will not have a jr high boys or girls game tonight.

JV games will begin at 10:00, consolation game, followed by the championship game
Varsity games will be played at 2:00 & 4:00 due to the evening Ohio State football game.
Monday, Dec. 30th
Varsity girls will play Eastern at 6:00 @ Piketon High School in the consolation game.

Just a reminder that the annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony will begin tonight at 5:30 PM in the high school cafeteria. The tree lighting will begin at 6 o’clock but we will have activities for kids in the cafeteria starting at 5:30 and then Santa Claus will be showing up during the tree lighting and will be available for pictures with kids after the tree lighting ceremony is finished outside
WHS Christmas Band Concert is today at 3pm. Come on out and support them. They have worked very hard. 🌲❤️💚 On behalf of all the high school we’d like to wish them good luck in their performance. We know it will be amazing! Thank you Mr. Cooper for all the time and effort in preparing them!

Athletic pictures and retakes will be Nov. 19th starting at 7:45. We will be doing our sports pictures first so CTC students can get to school at a decent time.

Due to some very slick spots on our hills we will be operating on a two hour delay. I know it’s way too early to start this crap but I am on some major ice right now so there’s not much of an option!!
