Ohio State Testing begins at the high school tomorrow, April 2nd. Students received an email regarding the testing dates, test security rules, and tips for test taking. Please remind them to read this email. Below are the dates for all state tests in April and May.

Mr. Dunn will be picking up the kids who live in on Green Ridge in the school van. He will be running a little bit late because he has to pick up another student first. First pick up on Green Ridge should be right around 7:45.
I was just notified that water is across at red Ridge so we will not be running red Bridge or McCoy today. Students who live on red Bridge and McCoy will be excused from school today

Western students Visiting Ohio University Athens on March 19th. It was so good to see Western graduates and current OU students Alyssa Marhoover, Lauren Ware, and Luke Smith.
This message is for students in 4-H in grades 3rd-12th who take livestock animals. We will be offering QA on Wednesday April 2, 2025 in the high school VoAg classroom. If your son/daughter takes a livestock animal and needs their QA completed for this year, then they can participate. Please send a note in giving them permission to participate in the QA session, so we know who all needs to participate. We would like all notes turned in by this Friday March 28th. Please take notes to the office of the building you attend. Thank you!
CCP REMINDER: This message is for students planning to participate in College Credit Plus (CCP) next school year (2025-26). Shawnee's deadline is approaching. It is April 1, 2025. In order to apply and participate, you must complete an intent form by April 1st and return it to the guidance office. We're going to have to double route for Debbie Scarbrough tonight. Penny will be taking her kids home a little early. She willpull out at 2:45 so Penny's kids will be getting home a few minutes early and then she will come back and get Debbie Scarbrough's kids. Debbie's kid should get home about 20 minutes later than normal.

These are the attendance guidelines for Prom, Graduation, field trips, activities, incentives, and ETC. This will be in 2 separate messages due to the size of it.
Unexcused absences in excess of the allowable amount of 72 unexcused hours and must adhere to, but not limited to the following.
May not attend or participate in graduation ceremonies, prom or other designated activities if hours are not made up by the time of the noted event.
Must make up all hours outside of class/school at the principal/superintendents’ approval to be permitted to participate in graduation ceremonies. Continued in next message...
