This message is for Debbie Scarbrough's bus. I apologize for the late notice but we've been trying to find a sub driver this morning for Debbie. She had a family emergency and is not able to drive. We are not able to get a sub so we will have to double route for her. We will send a bus out from the school as soon as the first one comes in. Student Council is having a fundraiser for their club! They are selling the AMAZING Butter Braids! The student council will take orders until October 25th! This Friday morning, October 11, is picture day at Western High School. Young Senior men need to wear a shirt and tie (you may borrow one from Mrs. Schuler if needed). Stop by her room before Friday to pick one out, if possible. Thank you!
Good evening parents and students. This is a friendly reminder that students are NOT permitted to bring bedding or blankets of any kind to school. We know this can be tempting for students with the weather getting colder, but due to many reasons including safety issues it is NOT permitted. Thank you!
There are still trees scattered around making it impossible to run a few roads. There could be some that we don't know about because there are some still that have dropped some more and are too low for a bus. Here's what I know right now. Teresa won't be running McCoy due to a powerline. She'll be turning around at the fire tower on Green Ridge. I checked it this morning and there is a tree hanging in the road just past the fire tower. David isn't running Davis Road. Reminder - if the bus doesn't run a road or if you have no power the absence is excused. Please send a note tomorrow with the reason for the absence.
