We will be having school tomorrow. I recognize that there are still a lot of you without electric and any student who is unable to come because they don't have electric will be excused. We will have several staff members who may not be able to make it because they've been without electric since Friday. We're going to make it work one way or the other so we will see everybody who is able to be there first thing in the morning. The biggest issue could be busing so if there are going to be any changes with the normal bus routes, I will notify everyone this evening of those changes

I know lots of people are wondering about school tomorrow. I'll put out an official message this afternoon to let everybody know for sure what we're doing. If we can get enough staff with electric here we are going to have school tomorrow and everyone who does not have electric will be excused. I want to make it possible for anyone who can get here to be able to have a hot meal And some type of normal routine tomorrow. Again, I'll put out the official message this afternoon. Either way, we will try to make it possible for any students who need to get in here to get a hot meal to do so even if we don't have school.

I know there are a lot of people in our district still without power. We are going to put out power packs this evening on the front porch of the junior high gym/bus unloading area. You can take as many as you need. We're heading that way in a few minutes and we should have them out before 6 o'clock. We will put more out tomorrow as needed.

We realize there are some trees causing some problems now. I've been in contact with the county garage and they have all of them on the list and are working on getting everything cleared out now. Anyone who wants to come and get their kids obviously is welcome to, I'm sure there will be situations where we have to wait for a few minutes for things to get cleared before the buses can move on through all the roads, but we will be in contact with the county garage to make sure they know where all of them are.

David is moving now. He will be running about 25 minutes later than normal.

This message is for David's bus. He is stuck at a tree and powerline and unable to get through. He's going to turn around as soon as the rain stops so as soon as he's back on the road, I will send another message.

I know that you've gotten several messages about the Rooms app. Rooms is the official way we communicate with parents. You can use Rooms and the Western apps to keep updated on everything going on at school. You have to download the Western app and then you can download rooms. Everyone who hasn't downloaded the Western app and the Rooms app will be getting a text message tomorrow evening. Please click the link and follow the simple instructions. If anyone has trouble with anything please let me know and we'll get it resolved. I'm adding a screenshot of the Rooms informational page from our website, also.
