Weekly athletic update for a busy week!
We were able to get South Gallia to switch home and away dates with us so the Homecoming game will be 1/19 and the dance will be 1/20. That allows us a makeup weekend later in case we have bad weather.
I apologize for the message overload. This does include CTC students. The bus is on the way.
If you need me to get a message about a bus, please text me and I will forward it on to Rachel or Bethany or both. I can't get a phone call through so if you put in a text message, I will be sure to have the right information and I will forward it straight onto them. Thank you.
As many of you are aware, we do not have electric at school. AEP estimates restoration time between one and 130. Therefore, we will not be able to make lunch. We will be dismissing students starting at 10:30. Some will leave a little later because we are waiting for all of the buses to get in but no buses will leave before 1030. As always, we will not drop students off if no one is home. We will bring your child back at the school and make arrangements for you to pick them up if you are not able to be home. There's no way to get a phone call to school because our phones are web-based and require electric. If you have an emergency, you can text my cell phone at 7402228311 I will get a message to the school. If you aren't able to be home, please let me know and we will make arrangements. Anyone who wants to go ahead and pick up their kids can do so starting immediately.
We have a potential conflict with the homecoming game that I didn't catch. I apologize. We may have to move the date up a week. I'll have the final date by this afternoon.
We've made some changes to the HS boys basketball schedule. The game schedule is the same but we've moved around our "special events" a little. All special events are included in the schedule. Homecoming is hard to schedule because we have to have the HC game on a Friday night when there isn't a game the next day! The homecoming game will be on January 26th with the dance on January 27th. I'm attaching the revised schedule.
Students received a handout regarding testing information and test security protocols today. This document was also emailed to each student in grades 7-12. Reminder to parents to periodically/frequently check our website for information regarding important student information. This is especially important for seniors. They have a lot going on! We have a link dedicated to "senior information" on our homepage and also a link for "student information." We always make multiple announcements and send stuff home with you students but we know it doesn't always make it home!

Students who have been riding the van who live on Green Ridge will be picked up tomorrow after buses get in. We had a driver have to call off tonight so we're going to have to double route for those students from Green Ridge.
