Junior High (and a few 6th graders) and High School Spring sprots pictures are on Monday, March 8th during school. They will start at 9:30AM with High School teams. We have had some coaches ask to please remind athletes to remember to bring your full uniforms with you to school Monday. Thank you!
This is just a reminder to families that if you have had a change of address, (in or out of our district) we need to know so we can update it in our system! We send a lot of important things home through the mail for all students. To change your address all you need to do is bring in a proof of address to the main offices. Examples of this are : Electric bill, phone bill, water bill, rent receipt, or a notarized letter from your landlord that you live there. Also if you have had a phone number change please call or come in to the main offices and get this changed as well. It is very important for us to be able to get ahold of you in case of an emergency or anything pertaining to your child.
Important sports information please read. The Winter Sports banquet for high school basketball, high school cheerleading, and high school wrestling will be March 14th at 6:00 PM in the high school cafeteria. The awards day and pizza party for junior high winter sports will be March 1st during the school day. Parents are welcome to attend the Awards part of this at 2:15PM in the High school gym. Spring sports mandatory parent/coach/player meeting for high school and junior high will be on March 12th at 5:00PM in room 101 of the high school. Spring sports pictures will take place on March 11th starting at 9:30AM with high school sports followed by junior high sports. Coaches will get the players their pictures forms soon. Seniors, Herff Jones will be coming to Western High School on Friday, March 1 around 12:30 pm to pass out graduation items. They will then head to the CTC and pass out items there. The balance is due before you can receive your items. If you do not have the balance, they will stay at the school until you are able to pay for them. March 1, 2024 will be the 7th & 8th grade basketball and 7th & 8th grade cheerleaders end of the season pizza party and awards day starting at their lunch time. Parents are welcome to attend the awards part only of the day at 2:15 PM in the high school gym.

No school for students on Thursday, Friday, or Monday! Thursday is a teacher PD day/PT conference. Parent teacher conferences are from 1-8 tomorrow. Everyone is off on Friday for P/T conference makeup day (as scheduled in the district calendar) and Monday is Presidents' Day. I hope everyone has a great extra long weekend. We hope to see all parents on Thursday evening.

Mr. Roush is going to be placed in "jail" at the boys home game on Tuesday, Feb. 13th. To be released he has to raise bail money for the high school prom. This Friday, Feb. 9th, will be hat day for $1.00 for students to go towards his bail fee! Please help out your principal!
