The following message is for any student who wants to take college credit classes next school year through Shawnee State University. ————————————————- COVID-19 Update: We understand that many people still need to take the Accuplacer exam in order to start as new students (if you are over 21), take College Credit Plus courses, or to test out of the Bridge Program. In order to help protect our staff and prospective students from the coronavirus, we are currently only able to conduct Accuplacer exams online. Your exam will be given through Zoom and proctored by a Shawnee State Testing Proctor. To take the exam you must have access to a quiet room where you can be alone, a computer with a webcam and a microphone, and reliable internet access. If you do not have these items, unfortunately, you cannot take the Accuplacer exam at this time. You can take your exam: Monday: 1pm-5pm Tuesday: 1pm-5pm Wednesday: 1pm-5pm Thursday: 8am-12pm Friday: 2pm-6pm Saturday: 8am-12pm You can register for the exam by going to: https://calendly.com/shawneestatetesting. We have limited space each day, so please select a different day if your first choice is not available. After you register, you will be e-mailed a list of instructions for how to take your exam. If you have any questions, please e-mail Rebecca Childers at rchilders@shawnee.edu or call the Success Center at 740-351-3594.

Based on the governor’s new recommendations we will not be delivering the power packs until further notice. However, the power packs will be ready for pick up from 11 to 1 in the bubble area in front of the junior high gym. We want to make sure all of our students get food while at the same time maintaining the safety of our staff members and complying with orders from the state government. We are permitted to do this because we are in the act of helping others. The powerpacks will be available to all students who are on the list and have been receiving them from 11 to 1 tomorrow. Anyone who is unable to pick up the power packs due to an unavoidable situation please message me through Facebook or call 740-493-3113 after 8 AM tomorrow.
