Just FYI, there is no way to control the placement of the YouTube feed. I can’t say for sure if it’s going to show the stage the entire time or not. The safest bet is probably to view through Facebook if you can. We are not able to control the camera. Unfortunately that’s just the way the system works.

Here is the YouTube link for tonight‘s graduation.

Graduation will be streamed through Facebook live and also on YouTube. I will post the link for the YouTube channel around 630.

There is a large food giveaway at Williams Hardware today. If anyone you know is in need of food please send them to Williams Hardware please

I wanted to make sure everyone is aware that we will be having our graduation parade tonight after the high school graduation. The graduation starts at seven and it is by invitation only. All attendees must have a ticket and the tickets have been given to the graduates. Covid rules are still in effect for four more days and our graduation falls under those guidelines therefore for attendance is limited. After graduation is over everyone will leave except the graduates. After everyone else has left the parking lot and had time to line up along 124 from the school to Corner Market the graduates will leave and be led down 124 by a cruiser. The students would appreciate as many participants as possible. Make some signs stand out in your yards blow your horns and congratulate these kids for their accomplishment on their big night. Give them a great send off.

Just a reminder that all available positions at Western will be posted on our district website under employment opportunities.

Here is the 2021-22 Western Local School Calendar

Reminder: Any student wanting to participate in college credit plus through Southern State next school year needs to apply online before August 6. We offer classes in our building for grades 10th-12th. If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Long at 740-493-2514

Just a reminder that we will be dismissing at 1o’clock tomorrow afternoon. CTC students do not have school at all tomorrow and will not be picked up in the morning.

School was on lock down because of a smoke detector in the elementary. Just letting everyone know there was no emergency situation. It is protocol.

Seniors graduation is practice tomorrow at 8:15 am, followed by a walking parade down the elementary hallways so bring your cap and gowns, followed by a senior lunch. Mrs. Marhoover will be taking Best of the Best pictures as well. Come ready for an individual picture if you have senior best of the best pictures because it will be in the yearbook. Thank you!
