We will be dismissing school at 2 PM on Friday. We are one bus driver short and we have two buses that have to leave for the district championship game before buses could return for a second trip. We are taking a pep bus to the game and we have had some generous donations that will enable us to purchase tickets for students who want to go to the game but are having trouble with the ticket price. Any high school or junior high student who wants to go to the game but doesn’t have a way or a ticket can let us know tomorrow morning and we will make sure that they are able to get to the game.
Reminder Thursday and Friday are Spirit Days at school for all students and staff!
Also, this Thursday will be a community pep rally to pump up our boys for their district final game. The pep rally will begin at 7:00.
There will be a noodle dinner fundraiser from 6-7:00. Dinner includes noodle, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, dessert, and drink. There is not a set price; donations only.
All money raised will go to send students from the pep section (Jr. High/High School) to the game on Friday.
Please come out for a night of food, fun, and best wishes to our Indians!

Effective February 25, 2022, CDC is exercising its enforcement discretion to not require that people wear masks on buses or vans operated by public or private school systems,
including early care and education/child care programs. CDC is making this change to align with updated guidance that no longer
recommends universal indoor mask wearing in K-12 and early education settings in areas with a low or medium COVID-19 Community Level.
No more mask requirement on buses!!!!
I’ve been out checking roads. There’s a little bit of ice on gates porches etc. but the roads are fine. Kelly May is not going to be running Davis Road this morning. Sorry for the late notice. Didn’t have enough phone service to get the call out until I got back home from checking the roads. She will be at the bottom of the hill at 6:55. If you can’t get there in time your student will be excused due to the late notice.
Spring pictures will be Wednesday, March 16 for Elementary and High School. Picture forms will be available closer to the date.
We have several roads in the district that are still flooded. We will be operating on a two hour delay tomorrow. We will for sure have school even if we have to skip a few places but we will be starting on a two hour delay.
Order your shirt to cheer on our boys at District!

We will not be having any type of delay tomorrow or day off as some are calling for due to the Super Bowl. However if parents want to write a note for their child to come late tomorrow then they are able to do so as always. Each student is permitted to miss up the 30 hours excused per year through parent notes and those are unrestricted and can be taken for any reason without explanation. Note just needs to stare family business and it will be excused. Every kid is allowed 30 hours per year per hour attendance policy with parent notes. Any student who has a good attendance and has hours left and their parent wishes to do so they can simply write a note stating family business and it will be excused like it would be for any other activities that students voluntarily engage in including shopping, hunting, vacation, oversleeping, etc.
