Western‘s 2021 homecoming ceremony will be broadcast live on Facebook tonight beginning at 6 PM. We obviously know we can’t have the traditional ceremony but we wanted to give our girls who were chosen to represent their classes the opportunity to have a homecoming and we want you to be able to experience it with them.

The College Credit Plus meeting scheduled for January 20th has been canceled. We will let you know when it’s rescheduled.
Mr. Meredith called me after school and wanted me to let Western CTC students know that you will not be required to attend the CTC on Thursday or Friday. We will not be taking a bus to the CTC. He wanted me to know you will be excused.

We are having trouble this morning with bus five. The bus will be running late. I will let you know whenever we start picking up students again.
The Western Local Board of Education will meet at 6pm on 1/11 in room 101 at the high school.
Junior high boys game is canceled tonight. Junior high girls game is still on.
College credit plus information night is January 20th at 6pm in room 101. This is for any student interested in participating in college credit plus courses next school year. This is for parents and students. Please wear masks and social distance when you come. This is mandatory for any student who is considering taking college courses here at the high school next school year or at the college. Thank you!
Reminder: Students in the primary and elementary buildings have packets to complete for the blended learning days this week. We did not send home Chromebooks this time.
If your child did not bring a packet home we have extra available in the office. You may pick up from 8:00-3:00 any day this week. Packets must be turned in on Monday the 11th when students return.
This is a reminder that tomorrow is not a blended learning day. Tomorrow is a day off for students and a professional development day for staff members so kids will have no work assigned tomorrow. Your principals will be in contact with you tomorrow at some point to make sure you know the plan for the rest of the week. Enjoy your last day of break.
One more reminder of the Christmas drive-through tonight in the back parking lot of the school beginning at 5:30 for all Western students and their families. Mr. Dunn will be reading the Christmas story at approximately 630
2 hour delay for Thursday 12/17 due to currently slick conditions on backroads and forecasted freezing rain during early morning hours.

Student who ride bus nine will be leaving school approximately 15 minutes earlier than normal today.
Bus 10 is leaving now to pick up bus nine students. Should be having the first pick up in 15 minutes or so
