Parents of seniors please pass this information on to your student - Any senior interested in choosing and painting their parking spot needs to let me know. I'll let Mr. Roush know who wants to be included in the draw. We'll do a random draw for parking spots to make it fair. If you and a friend want to change your spots after the draw that's perfectly fine. We'll let everyone know which spot they have after he draws the numbers on Friday afternoon. I'll reply to everyone who messaged me with a picture of the assigned spots. If there are any changes I'll need to get a message from both seniors regarding the change. Fall Sports Parent Meeting @ 5pm on August 15th in Room 101. Any parent who has a student playing/running high school soccer, golf, or cross country must attend. If you can't attend please contact Beth Alexander at 740 835 7005 or their coach.
High school soccer practice tonight from 6pm-8pm. Anyone interested in playing needs to be there tonight.
Attention students in grades 6-8 interested in playing junior high soccer! Soccer practice will begin on Monday (8/7) from 5-6:30 pm for anyone interested in playing JH soccer this year. If you want to play it's important for you to be there tonight.

Western High School will be offering a 2 week Summer Coding Camp. The Camp will run from 8:30-11:30 AM, June 12th-15th and June 19th-22nd. Lunch will be provided. Call 740-493-2514 or email pete.dunn@westernlocalschools.com to register.
Just a reminder about the Western boys youth basketball camp this week for students going into third through ninth grades. May 30 to June 2 from 9 AM until noon each day.

3rd & 4th Grade Ohio State Test Incentive Trip tomorrow, Wed. May 24th to Malibu Jacks
Some important reminders: The package includes 3 hours of game time, $10 game card, 2 slices of pizza and a drink. They only need to bring money if they want extra food or more game money.
They may take their phones for the bus trip but they will be left with a teacher and they will not be allowed to have them while at Malibu Jacks.
They will return to the school right at 2:30-2:40, just in time to get on their bus to go home.
If they did not earn the incentive they will need to stay home. Thank you.
Reminder: The last day for students is Thursday, May 25th. They will be going the entire day.
Staff will be going on Friday, May 26th for Professional Development Day.
Attention 1st-6th grade families.
Tomorrow is field day. Your child needs to wear comfortable clothes and tennis shoes.
Dress code reminders: No spandex shorts. Shorts needs to be mid thigh level. Student may wear sleeveless shirts but they must be tight under the arm and not extend more than three fingers at the top. No strapless or spaghetti straps. Shirts must be capable of being tucked in. Students can bring sunscreen to re-apply throughout the day.
There will be a concession stand available. Students can use Live School points or money to purchase. Please note, they are only permitted to purchase 1 of each item, expect for popsicles. Gatorade 200 points or $1, Popsicle 25 points or $0.50, Water 100 points or $1, Icee 200 points or $1, candy bars 100 points or $2, and chips 50 points or $0.50.
