Attention ALL Seniors! The Senior Class will be having their "Senior Sunrise" this Friday August 23rd at 6:00 AM at the High School Track. Mr. Roush will be providing donuts for all of you. Here is a good intro for anyone who is unfamiliar with the GRIT Project. You may hear us refer to the GRIT Assessment. It is technically called the Future Plans Assessment. The terms are used interchangeably in Appalachia because of the unique partnership between the two entities. 2024-2025 Fall Jr. High and High School OHSAA Parents' Sports Meeting - Tuesday, August 13 at 6:00 in the WHS Cafeteria.
I know this is probably redundant but I wanted to remind everyone that your report time is 12:40 (be in the high school gym at 12:40) instead of the typical 12:00 on open house day. We haven't done a "meet everyone" event before and we have a lot of new staff members and I want to make sure that the board members get to meet all of you.

As always, if you want to switch with someone just get with them and if you both agree to the switch then it's good with us. I can't share the picture through text so you'll have to go to FB or the website to get your spot. I tried to get everyone who had contacted me. Good morning senior parents! Sorry to bother you but we may not have all the kids' numbers so I'm trusting you to relay the message. Any senior interested in painting a parking spot needs to contact me (Mr. Brewster) at 740 222 8311.. You can simply text me your name and then I'll have the number to reply. I'll randomly draw numbers to assign spots (to make it fair) and then if you guys want to trade with one another it's good with us as long as everyone agrees on the switch. Please share this info with your senior friends. We are repainting the spots back to black. As soon as that's done I'll let you know. Should be early next week.
Any boys or girls interested in playing high school soccer or with questions about playing high school soccer please contact Coach Claytor at 740 970 0840. We would love to have so more players join the program!!

Just a reminder that if anyone needs a place to work our Career Development Center is open. Anyone in our district who needs to access work remotely, complete a training, or college course can contact Mr. Brewster at 740 222 8311. Additionally, anyone who wants to complete the Future Plans Assessment (GRIT assessment) can do that here and also receive coaching. Taking the assessment is the first step toward starting a new career! Emma Henderson is working in the career center to help with the assessment and anything else that someone may need.
