Unexcused absences in excess of the allowable amount of 72 unexcused hours and must adhere to, but not limited to the following.
May not attend or participate in graduation ceremonies, prom or other designated activities if hours are not made up by the time of the noted event.
Must make up all hours outside of class/school at the principal/superintendents’ approval to be permitted to participate in graduation ceremonies. Continued in next message...

Spring Pre-Season Parent/Player Meeting
This message is for students planning to participate in College Credit Plus (CCP) next school year (2025-26). In order to apply and participate, you must complete an intent form by April 1st and return it to the guidance office. Application deadlines include completed application as well as completed placement test if required. The following are the deadlines for each university or college.
Shawnee State University - April 1, 2025
Ohio University Chillicothe - June 1, 2025
Rio Grande - August 1, 2025
Southern State Community College - August 8, 2025

This week March 3rd- March 7th, is Read Across America Week with Dr. Seuss! Lets celebrate reading and Dr. Seuss with a dress up theme each day. The Book Fair will also be going on this week! Monday- wear your favorite hat Tuesday - wear silly socks Wednesday- wear wacky clothes & hair Thursday - dress in what you want to be when you grow up. Friday- wear a shirt we can read.
Reminder: Tomorrow, Saturday March 1st is the Deep Blue Dance for grades Pre K-6th. The dance will take place in the elementary cafeteria from 7-8:30 pm.
Students MUST be accompanied by an adult. They are not to be dropped off and then picked up later.

The Ross Pike ESC (Renee Tackett's employer) is hosting a Pie in the Face fundraiser in an effort to raise funds to help cover the insurance deductible for Jocey Tackett's medical expenses. Ed Dickens, Ross Pike ESC assistant superintendent and former teacher/principal/superintendent of Waverly Local school District has graciously agreed to "take as many pies to his face as it takes!" Please send all donations with comment "pie" to Venmo @Jason-Wiseman-23 or PayPal @JasonWiseman23. All proceeds will be sent directly to the Tackett family. For every $100 donated, Ed Dickens will take a pie to the face! Every donation is greatly appreciated no matter how small. Donations will be combined in $100 increments. If any local businesses would like to sponsor a whole pie, I will gladly put a shout-out to you on this post! Please make all donations by 8:00 am this Friday, February 28th. Ed Dickens will be pied at the Ross Pike ESC staff meeting held that day. Pictures/videos will be posted/shared on the Ross Pike ESC website.
