This message is for 8th grade students and parents. Tomorrow, May 22nd is 8th Grade Promotion. The ceremony will start at 9:00 AM and be held in the High School Gym. After the ceremony you are permitted to take your child with you at no cost to their attendance. There will be sign-out sheets in the Gym so that you can bypass the office congestion. You are only allowed and permitted to take your own child with you. If you are taking another student who is not yours, the office must have verbal permission from the other child's parent or guardian. Thank you.

We are feeding the ecosystem kids tomorrow for all of their work over the past couple of months. We ordered from Cane's and we are going to be closed tomorrow. The coffee shop will be open. We are planning to open up the grill Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday next week.

Letters were sent home if your child will be receiving an award. If you did not receive a letter, you may contact your child's teacher to see if they are getting one.
All 6th grade students will receive a certificate of completion from elementary school.
Senior graduation practice will be Monday morning at 8 AM. It is mandatory for all seniors. Please bring your cap and gown because that will be the day of your Senior Walk through the elementary. There will be a senior breakfast after the graduation practice and walk.
We are going to have to change the Senior Showcase until Tuesday night at 6 o'clock in order to allow our senior softball players to attend. The only change is the date. Everything else will be as planned. The K 11 Closing House event will be as scheduled on Monday.
This message is for ALL WHS Seniors. On Monday, May 19th will be Graduation practice beginning at 8:00 am. It is MANDATORY! Do not be late! Please bring your cap and gown; there will be a parade through the elementary after practice. There will also be a senior breakfast. You may leave after the parade. Everything should be done by 10 a.m.
Attention parents of 7th-12th graders. If your student receives an award at our JH/HS awards day tomorrow, they will be permitted to sign out after the ceremony at no cost to their attendance. You will be required to sign them out in the high school office.

I know several people just received a text message with important dates. The eighth grade graduation date is incorrect. The eighth grade graduation is May 22. High school graduation is May 23. All other information is correct.

Reminder: The Western High School Cheerleading Clinic and Tryouts are tomorrow 5/8 and Friday 5/9 from 3:15 PM - 5:15 PM in the High School Gym. Please wear a western T-shirt, Black or neutral color of athletic pants or shorts, and your hair pulled up both days! Also if you have not turned your permission forms in yet , those will need turned in to Mrs. Wessel as well.
Varsity and Softball Game @ South Gallia will be played Tuesday, May 6 - game time 5:00 bus leaves at 2:30.
South Gallia just called and the HS Softball and Baseball game has been cancelled. Bus is on the way back to school.
