I checked the roads this morning and there is no water out anywhere. We got a little less than 1.5 inches of rain last night. The forecast is calling for another half to three quarters today. if that's all we get we'll be fine but I'm telling the bus drivers to be on call just in case we get more than anticipated. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up.
One week until the junior high/high school Scholastic Book Fair! This will be held in the high school library, and students can shop throughout the school day.
Student Run Credit Union will be open on Wednesday, March 22. Bring your money to deposit-no amount is too small. If you would like to open an account, it's not too late. Call the office for a form to complete.

Exciting news! The junior high/high school will hold its Scholastic Book Fair March 29-April 5. This will be held in the high school library during school hours.
Here is the link on our website where all information that WHS students get through announcements, flyers, etc. is contained. Any student who misses an announcement or attends the CTC or is in CCP and out of the building can get the information here.
After looking at the Facebook response and text messages, we will be having school tomorrow. I realize we have several families without power and it's kind of hit and miss so any student who does not have power will be excused. Just send a note in on Tuesday or call in tomorrow. I think it's justifiable to have school tomorrow even with some people without power in order to ensure that everyone who's able to get here will be able to have a hot meal and lights!
Doing a final check to see which roads are still without power. If your road or part of your road is still without power, please respond to this post on Facebook and I will get back with everyone quickly about a decision regarding school tomorrow. Staff members please text me to let me know the status of your electric.
I know we are currently dealing with a high number of power outages in our area. I'm tying to figure out a plan for tomorrow and let you know that I understand many of you are without power and have been for a few days. I will get in touch with everyone later this afternoon about what we're going to do tomorrow for sure. I've been seeing Facebook posts regarding the outage areas but if your road is without power, please let me know by replying to this Facebook post and also put the projected time. I will be in contact with AEP and South Central to find out if they expect to have most power restored earlier than projected. I will be in touch later this afternoon/early evening with tomorrow's plan.
The PTO will be hosting a Scholastic Book Fair during the week of March 6-10. Students in grades K-6 will go to the book fair during their scheduled music time. Preschool students will visit the book fair on Monday, March 6. Thank you!
We were unable to get a route covered this evening so we will be splitting Donna's bus like we sometimes do with the Lapperel kids riding Bus 1, the Grassyfork kids riding Bus 5 and the 124 kids ridingBus 7. After Penny drops off her kids, she will come back to get students who ride the bus 19. They will be arriving home approximately 30 minutes later than normal.
